Back to What to Wear

Accessibility

We want What to Wear to be usable by everyone, on any device, with any input method.

Our commitment

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA and to improve as we learn.

What we already do

  • Semantic HTML with clear landmarks and a single <main> per page.
  • All controls are reachable and operable by keyboard, with a visible focus ring.
  • Icon-only buttons carry an aria-label describing their action.
  • Text and interactive elements are designed to meet WCAG AA color-contrast ratios.
  • Layouts adapt down to small screens; tap targets aim for 44×44 px on touch.
  • Motion is sparing and respects the prefers-reduced-motion setting.

Known limitations

  • We use emoji as weather icons. Each one is paired with a text label so the meaning is never lost, but assistive technology may announce the emoji name in the user's system language.
  • The site has not yet been audited by an independent accessibility specialist.

Feedback

If something is hard to use, or if you'd like to report an accessibility issue, please write to dpo@torresburriel.com. We read every message.
